In the world of online role playing, World of Warcraft is the most played online game. This multi-player online game is the ultimate fantasy game ever build. Building characters with weapons and skills form the basis of the game. These characters can be personalized and specifically created from top to bottom. Due to this, the game play becomes an extension of the players themselves. One of the most popular classes in characters is the world of warcraft paladin

To choose weapons for your paladin you need to know a little bit more about them first. A Paladin is a hybrid class, meaning it encompasses certain qualities of other, more polar classes. Paladins have the ability to play a variety of different roles, including DPS (Retribution), Tanking (Protection), and Healing (Holy). It is a melee fighter, but also a healer, it has the strength of a generic warrior, yet the magical powers of a druid. As such, it is a popular class for players, since it is essentially a combination of the best traits of two less-than-stellar classes.

As a holy warrior, the World of Warcraft paladin can wear cloth, leather, or mail armor, and can train to wear plate armor at level 40, but he is also magically-inclined enough to cast an additional shield or healing blessing. In the World of Warcraft the weapons for the paladin include swords, maces, axes and pole-arms. A World of Warcraft paladin can even summon a warhorse.

The World of Warcraft paladin melee weapons:

* 1H Maces
* 2H Maces
* 1H Swords
* 2H Swords
* 1H Axes
* 2H Axes
* Polearms

However, the World of Warcraft paladin cannot dual wield or use ranged weapons.

These include:

* Wands
* Guns
* Thrown weapons
* Bows
* Crossbows

Identify what your Paladin needs, this will vary depending on your role. Retribution Paladins are mostly in need of Strength, Attack Power and Agility. Protection Paladins need Stamina, Spell Damage. Holy Paladins need Stamina, Intellect and Healing.

Unlike the warrior class, the World of Warcraft paladin can only be played as a few races: humans, dwarfs, blood elves and the draenei. If a player is determined to play as a particular race, he or she may not be able to play as a paladin and may want to consider one of the other melee or healing-based classes.

The paladin is the equivalent of good; he stands for the good in the world, and destroys the bad whenever he can. For the sake of goodness, the paladin can kill without consequence. Because of this the paladin is especially productive when battling the undead, or other completely evil beings. The paladin can lose all light-given abilities when he commits an evil act therefore he follows a strict code. A paladin can cast auras, blessings and seals, thanks for the most part to its alignment with the world of light. So he would not like to lose these abilities.
