World of Warcraft characters can be completely customized to what you would like and can empathize with. This way the characters are often enhanced reflections of the players so they can take their characters seriously. You can also give your character a profession, like fishing in special World of Warcraft fishing zones this is a big difference with other multi-player role games that usually don’t include professions.

Professions the basics

- Professions can be chosen regardless of class or race;
- Professions are skills that can be learned over time
- Professions can prove lucrative down the road.

You can divide professions into two categories: production and collecting. You can choose up to two primary professions for your character and any or all of the three secondary professions. World of Warcraft fishing is an often-forgotten secondary profession. But fishing is a good source of food, it can complete other profession like cooking and it can provide you a small income but it involves little risk. Just find some good World of Warcraft Fishing Zones that your level can fish and get busy.

In World of Warcraft fishing zones there is not only fish to fish, you can also catch gems, equipment, chests, herbs and fish-related items. Some of these items are valuable reagents used by spell casters, while others are just useful to have around.

World of Warcraft Fishing practise

World of Warcraft fishing can be practiced with specific trainers and requires a fishing pole. Fishing poles are available at most general trade vendors. A character’s fishing skill will increase over time as more and more fish are successfully caught, and some water surfaces require a specific fishing level in order to be utilized.

For example:
If you have a base fishing skill of <1 (-70?) you can fish in the following World of Warcraft Fishing Zones: Azuremyst Isle, Dun Morogh, Durotar, Elwynn Forest, Eversong Woods, Mulgore, Teldrassil, and Tirisfal Glades.

When you have a fishing skill of 355 you can fish in Terokkar Forest, Zangarmarsh West (Marshlight Lake, Sporewind Lake, Serpent Lake).

Available fish change according to World of Warcraft Fishing Zones and time of day. Schools of fish can yield special gifts and bonuses if a character’s cast lands on-target, and even bosses can be found through World of Warcraft fishing. A character’s fishing level can be increased with the use of certain equipment, fishing poles and lures, and sometimes these extra statistics are necessary when fishing for certain items.

Each World of Warcraft Fishing Zones has a base skill requirement to fish in. If you don’t have the right level (yet) you can’t fish there, you will be told that you don’t have sufficient skill to fish there when you first try and cast. If your skill is less than about base skill requirement plus 95, you will find a proportion of your fish “get away” - the bobber splashes, but no fish are hooked. And it is too bad that there aren’t any signs at the World of Warcraft Fishing Zones that tell you that.
