As with any new game the first thing interested players would like to know is if it is a good game and the second question is in this case what are the Warhammer online system requirements? Warhammer is a new game that will be released on September the 18th 2008, the open beta is opened on September the 7th and before that there was a closed beta. From what we have heard and saw in the beta games the first question is easy to answer Yes it is a very good game and the Warhammer online system requirements are also quite reasonable. Warhammer online system requirements:

Windows XP
* 1 Gigabyte RAM
* 2.5 GHz P4 (single core) processor or equivalent
* At least 15 GB of hard drive space
* A 128 MB Video Card, with support for Pixel Shader 2.0

Windows VISTA
* 2 Gigabyte RAM
* 2.5 GHz P4 processor or equivalent
* At least 15 GB of hard drive space
* A 128 MB Video Card, with support for Pixel Shader 2.0

World of Warcraft System Requirements: What You Need

The time you could go to your local computer store and pick a game from the shelves and expect it to work is over, first you have to Wait very closely at the box if the system requirement match yours a when they do there still is a change that your machine needs to be worked at to get the game working at an acceptable level.

It is a well know fact that the computer industry walks hand in hand with the gaming industry. There are many gamers that change there computers as quickly as there games, by the time a new version of there most favorite game is released a new computer is often also required, The new and improved computer is necessary to successfully run and not just run the game but actually be able to play it to the fullest. World of Warcraft is no different.

The World of Warcraft system requirements are substantial. Now, while the base requirements, those necessary to turn the game on, may not appear so daunting, running any computer game on the minimum requirements is the opposite of fun. World of Warcraft requires a large amount of memory, hard drive space and, above all, a solid internet connection. Millions of players connect daily to the World of Warcraft servers, and the amount of information being transferred from any one computer to the main terminals is astounding.  But with all of these numbers and with all of these devices, a lot can go wrong, and while the World of Warcraft system requirements are adequate outlines, they are not gospel, and serious gamers know they will need to go above and beyond these outlines to experience the game fully.

For a Windows system, the minimum World of Warcraft system requirements are as follows:
- Intel Pentium III 800 MHz or AMD Athlon 800 MHz processor
- at least 512 MB of RAM,
- 32 MB graphics card,
- DirectX 9.0,
- 6.0 GB of hard drive space
- 4x CD-ROM
- 56k internet connection.

However, the recommended World of Warcraft system requirements are substantially higher:
- Intel Pentium IV 1.5 GHz or AMD XP 1500+ MHz processor
- 1024 MB of RAM
- 64 MB 3D graphics card
- broadband internet connection
- A two-button, scroll-wheel mouse is also recommended.

For the serious gamer, these numbers spell the difference between ruling the gaming world and stumbling through it. Slow-downs, screen freezes, blue screens and disconnections can ruin any gaming experience, and even amateur players will grow frustrated when they constantly have to wait for images to load and for graphics to scroll in a less-than-choppy fashion.  World of Warcraft system requirements only guarantee the game to run; they do not guarantee the game to run in a playable fashion.  The World of Warcraft system requirements for Mac-based operating systems are similar; however, PCs are universally regarded as better gaming systems due to their ability to support hardware upgrades.

With every new pack and pach the World of Warcraft system requirements slowly change and overtime you will notice that what was more then acceptable for the original game is by var not adequate any more. This is forces the players to upgrade their computers to adequate World of Warcraft system requirements.
