There is a EVE online drone available for many different tasks, they can help you for example with mining or in combat they can be used as an extra shield, in logistics or as electronic warfare.

You can add a EVE online drone to your ship by putting it in your ships drone bay and you can also launch it from there. Be aware that you cannot launch more drones then your ship band with allows you a little drone requires a band with of 5 medium drones need 10 and the real heavy ones a band with of 25. You can also create groups with your drones and let them perform tasks as a group.

In EVE online the players are actually the pilots of the EVE online spaceships, next to a portrait, the ship is the representation of your character and can be personalized and created by you as the player.

When you are no longer a beginner in this wonderful game it is time to start looking for a new ship and to make a choice you do not just need to have developed some skills and earned some money, you also need EVE online ship statistics to make a good choice.

On the official EVE online site you can find the statistics for every ship you can buy. Frigates, industrials, cruisers, titans, battleships and shuttles are the 6 basic classes, and each class possesses its own unique characteristics, but within each class there are considerable variations you can choose from. There is a Ship Database where you can learn more about the EVE online ship statistics, the types and all of the specification per ship.

For example in the class Battleships you can make a choice for the Minmatar, Caldari, Amarr and Gallente type, within for example the Minmatar you can choose from Maelstrom, Typhoon or Tempest. In this trailer from EVE you can already see some of the eve online spaceships. EVE is like World of Warcraft a MMOG a massive multiplayer online game, the difference is World of Warcraft is a MMORPG a Massively multiplayer online role-playing game. EVE is set in a science fiction setting and you can describe it as and alternate reality.

Players are the pilots of EVE online spaceships and in the game they are represented as avatars, both as a ship avatar and with a portrait that is created and personalized by the player. But the avatar stays a portrait it is not possible to exit your ship and explore planets or space stations.

EVE starts with the player creating his or her character which owns a basic spaceship. When you have mastered the basics of the game, made some money and developed some skills you can upgrade your ship to bigger and better EVE online spaceships with for example high-end defense equipment.

EVE online spaceships play a large role in EVE. There are 6 basic classes:

- frigates
- industrials
- cruisers
